Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of application solutions spanning the integration of multiple functional business areas. The incumbent works with business and application groups to re-engineer new processes and sustain existing ones within and outside the technical Center of Expertise (COE) or portfolio. The incumbent works with process team leaders to provide a cross-functional view, bridging the gap between various teams to make sure processes are end-to-end integrated. This position takes ownership of complex and integrated design issues across process teams to provide full process and systems integration. It has responsibility for ensuring the necessary integration testing occurs to prove out a solution and
its touch points. The incumbent is responsible for demonstrating proactive leadership in facilitating teams of various subject matter experts to accomplish large project assignments. This position collaboratively works across Global Information Systems (GIS) in accomplishing tactical and strategic application development objectives, coaches others in the development of functional and technical systems designs and collaborates with Enterprise Architects on the standards, strategy, and solution recommendations for new projects, enhancements or implementations.

Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent. ITIL certification and Microsoft certification is desired; Cisco networking and/or telephony certification is a plus.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 10 or more years of successful project delivery with a focus on systems design. Experience with large scale program and project delivery. Extensive experience with designing, configuring, and implementing on one or more of the following technical platforms or disciplines: Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Active Directory, MS SQL/DB, Enterprise Server design, build and sizing. Has a proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and delivering information systems, with an emphasis on system infrastructure. Strong experience in, and orientation toward, solution design, project management and structured system development methodologies. Experience with Microsoft Cloud Services is a plus.

Supplemental Information:
Infrastructure Focus Area
This position’s focus area is the design and engineering of server, storage, and network infrastructure services and components, spanning the integration of multiple functional business areas.

In addition, the incumbent will need to create, update and maintain design documents for various parts of the Solution Design Package, including service functional requirements, service level requirements, service operational requirements, and provide expert guidance to processes in the service availability, service capacity, and service continuity areas.

Additional Responsibilities
Experience with large scale program engineering and design, in one or more of the following areas:
- Engineering Server, Network, DB, and Storage Infrastructure in a globally-distributed manufacturing or e-commerce enterprise
- Designing highly-available, low-latency and low-jitter globally meshed networks for e-commerce and manufacturing
- Designing and engineering service migrations from private to hybrid and public data centers (clouds)
- Designing services to inter-operate on OS agnostic, physical and virtual platforms
- Virtualization of IT Infrastructure Service Components into converged agile cloud infrastructures
