As a Project Engineer yourprimarily functions will be to plan, monitor, and supervise on-siteconstruction activities for a particular project, maintaining liaison withDivision Manager and client regarding project progress and changes. Insuresproject management and operational activities comply with company and clientrequirements, providing interpretation of design and application ofconstruction methods. This position requires travelling to various work sites.

Key Qualifications


  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Construction Management or related field (required)
  • Prefer P.E. designation or interest andability to obtain
  • Prefer3-5 years of working experience within the construction field,heavy civil, railroads, bridges or marine.
  • Abilityto travel extensively (80%) for extended periods of time (3 weekstays) throughout the US
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, problemsolving skills and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of projectmanagement control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement, value engineeringand estimating)
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understandspecifications and drawings
  • Working knowledge of construction costs andprincipals
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Word alongwith scheduling and project management software (i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project,etc.)
  • Fluency with AutoCAD
  • Prefer experience with USACE QCS module
  • Familiarity with Inventor a plus
  • Familiarity with HCSS Heavy Job and Heavy Bid
