Job Summary:
The HR Manager reports to our Powertrain Operations (PTO) facility located in Menomonee Falls, WI. The plant has approximately 1000 employees and the hourly employees are represented by the United Steelworkers and International Association of Machinists.

The HR Manager is the business partner interacting on a day to day basis with business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters impacting their assigned business units.This individual effectively engages the HR Generalist(s) assigned to their team in providing innovative HR strategies designed to optimize human resources within their assigned business areas. This role assists the business unit leadership in the development and implementation of solutions that makes business strategies actionable.

The HR Manager contracts effectively with the center led specialties within the HR function to deploy COE initiatives in the areas of total rewards, labor/employee relations, and talent management as well as the rest of the COE functions within the HR shared services model as needed.

Education Required:
This position requires a Bachelors degree. A Masters Degree is preferred.

Experience Required:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years broad knowledge, proven experience and demonstrated leadership skills in Labor Relations and Human Resources, and strong supervisory and managerial experience.
- Previous experience in an HR leadership role within a manufacturing environment along with demonstrated labor relations skills including direct contract administration experience in a union manufacturing environment is required.
