Position: This position is responsible for leading a team of analysts in the process of collaborating with suppliers and engineering to develop motorcycle components from concept to production.

Key Deliverables
- Ensure the team’s quality, cost, capacity and time commitment targets are achieved to deliver a successful product launch for purchased components
- Responsible for team’s completion of core processes including commercial and data management and reporting for new parts and supplier manufacturing process development
- Review and assess PPAP and supporting documentation and provide necessary feedback to suppliers.
- Provide solutions to mitigate risk and impact to project timing and key deliverables and utilize problem solving tools without guidance
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and present data-driven information to large audiences including executive leadership
- Provide guidance for team when negotiating commercial terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers for parts, tooling and NRE (Non-Recurring Expenses) at a high level of proficiency
- Hold suppliers and the development team accountable to commitments and project deliverables independently and take the appropriate steps to escalate when required
- Responsibility for projects beyond life cycle product development

Education Required:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in materials management, supply chain management, business administration, engineering or equivalent degree.

Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated performance in technical competencies of procurement, engineering, finance, and/or operations. In addition they will have demonstrated the following:

- Knowledge and experience in the production or procurement of components and subsystems, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain methods and materials used within areas of responsibility
- Strong, demonstrated program management and communication skills required
- Knowledge of concurrent product and process development techniques and supply chain management, preferably through contribution to new product launches
- Solid understanding of product development methodology (i.e. APQP) to ensure appropriate quality planning tools are utilized throughout the development cycle
- Strong knowledge of operations techniques including but not limited to Capability Studies, PFMEAs and Control Plans, Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing, cost management tools, and other quality and continuous improvement tools.
- Able to read and interpret part prints including the understanding of manufacturability, function and relationship of part features
- Capable of directing external support staff and outside agencies
- Desirable for candidate to have supervisory experience
